Screen Repair

Screens serve a very important purpose for our homes and windows, but, if they are broken, damaged, or torn they can be very ineffective.  Screens keep bugs out, provide a breeze to enter on a nice day, without allowing other unwanted things in, and can protect your windows from harsh weather and other outdoor threats.  For these and other reasons, it is important to make sure your screens are durable and can function properly.

There are many ways that screens can be damaged; the sun is a major one of these.  Day after day the sun shines on your screens.  Over time this will fade the mesh and the plastic corners of the screen causing them to be very brittle and sometimes break.  As the screen becomes weaker, the mesh will begin to tear through, allowing bugs and other unwanted critters in.

Another factor to consider is when screens are removed improperly the frames can be bowed and brittle corners can break.  When this happens, your screens are not able to function and serve their purpose properly. When any of these things happen we advise repairing of the screens so that they can give you and your home the protection that it needs.
